  • Open mouth and look for object
  • Use tweezers to remove if visible
  • For small dogs: hold upside down and tap back
  • For large dogs: lift hind legs, push on ribcage

Bleeding

Signs: Active bleeding, pale gums, weakness

Action:

  • Apply direct pressure with clean cloth
  • Elevate wound if possible
  • Don't remove embedded objects
  • Monitor for shock symptoms

Action:
